This Privacy Policy explains how Lawn-A-Matic collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access or use the Lawn-A-Matic platform.
1. Our role
Lawn-A-Matic operates as a service provider and data processor. Subscribers control the information they provide to the platform and are responsible for how they use the platform with their customers.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Subscriber account and company information
- Company name, address, phone number, email address, website, and optional social media links.
- User account information such as name, email address, phone number, and login metadata.
2.2 Customer information provided by Subscribers
- Names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, job information, notes, invoices, and related records entered by Subscribers.
2.3 Files and documents uploaded to the platform
- Documents and images uploaded by Subscribers, including optional business documents such as certificates of insurance.
2.4 Messaging data
- When enabled by a Subscriber, the platform may process email and SMS content, recipient details, timestamps, delivery status, and opt-out status to deliver messages and enforce compliance.
2.5 Integration data
- When a Subscriber connects third-party integrations, the platform may receive and store data necessary to provide the requested integration features.
2.6 Technical information
- Device and browser information, IP address, and security and performance logs.
3. No access to your device data
Lawn-A-Matic is a web-based platform that may be installed as a Progressive Web App. Lawn-A-Matic does not access or collect data stored on your device such as contacts, photos, files, or other applications. The platform processes only information intentionally provided through the platform and authorized integrations.
4. How we use information
- To provide and operate the platform and its features.
- To secure the platform, prevent abuse, enforce policies, and investigate suspected misuse.
- To support Subscribers, respond to support requests, and address reported issues.
- To comply with applicable law and lawful requests.
5. Messaging and opt-outs
Where messaging features are used, the platform enforces standard opt-out mechanisms for SMS and email. Subscribers are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their customers before sending messages. Customers may opt out by replying STOP (SMS) or using an unsubscribe mechanism in email where provided.
6. Payment processing
Lawn-A-Matic does not store payment card information. Payments are processed and stored by Stripe, a PCI DSS compliant payment processor.
7. Storage, transmission security, and hosting
- Data transmitted to and from Lawn-A-Matic is encrypted using SSL/TLS.
- Platform data, including backups, may be stored and processed using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States.
- We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system can be guaranteed secure.
8. Backups and retention
We may perform periodic backups for operational continuity and disaster recovery purposes. Backups are not guaranteed to be complete, current, or available at any given time.
9. Disclosures to third parties
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the platform, including Stripe, Twilio, Intuit QuickBooks, and AWS. We do not sell personal information.
10. QuickBooks data limitations
Data synchronized from QuickBooks is accessed and used to support in-platform functionality. Lawn-A-Matic does not provide a bulk export or download mechanism for data sourced from QuickBooks. Subscribers should use QuickBooks for official records, reporting, and exports.
